Like American football, basketball is one of the biggest sports in the United States (and the world). Basketball is fun to play for everyone, regardless of level, as it is a relatively simple game to play, both in terms of rules and equipment. Each team consists of five players on the field at the same time trying to score points by hitting the opponent's basket/ring with the ball. The game is mainly played indoors as a competitive sport. The Norwegian Basketball Association (NBBF) organizes the sport in Norway.

European Championship qualification:

During the Student Games in Trondheim, there will be qualification for the Student EC 2023. The championship will be held in Aveiro, Portugal in the period 23-30 July.
