Indoor orienteering is an orienteering race that is run indoors in one or more buildings. This form of orienteering is inspired by sprint orienteering but uses premises indoors where rooms, stairs and the change between different floors add an extra challenge for the runners. Since the race takes place indoors, it is a great opportunity to test orientation without the risk of running away. It is also a form of orientation that is interesting for experienced runners who want a new challenge.
